People often forget something about vandy: their offense always sucks, but derek mason always fields tough, middle to top half of sec defenses.

Why shouldn't I expect a similar 42-7 type game?

Didn’t preseason experts say LSU was gonna be 8-4 at BEST in 2019? How’d that work out?

I think they’re fairly comparable, mizzou probably a little more talented but not as gelled as vandy

Bama won comfortably but it wasn’t an absolute beatdown.

Mizzou got two TD's late in 4thQ to make that Bama score (38-19) closer.

The continual shifting of our O line personnel bothers me. I do have faith in Coach Cregg. He is one of our top assistants.

I think LSU wins by 20.

Vandy right now is statistically among the top 5 worst tackling teams in college football :| Mizzou frosh QB tho - defense better be “hongry”

To my own point... J. Emery is a strong contributing reason for this haha

Their D held A&M to fewer points than Bama did

From what I saw, Bama scored at will when the game mattered (which was before halftime) and then coasted before bringing their freshman phenom for the fourth quarter. I’m not a Bama fan but it was indeed an arse kicking.

Both are weak teams

-Vandy has a stout front and solid defensive personnel and Mason is a solid defensive mind

-Mizzou is the bottom of the barrel talent wise but hired a solid new HC so their brand of play will likely be better

I saw that they were 3rd worst at missed tackles in run D at 30.38%. Vandy is 36%. Florida is 39% fwiw. Stats from SEC_StatCat on Twitter.

I’m guessing Missouri will have a better offensive line than Vandy. Wasn’t Vandy short handed there when we played them?

No Vandy would be a 9 point dog on neutral field.
