They don't have better players though. She's been the best 3 pt shooter on the team by a lot and she's been the most efficient scorer at the guard position by a lot. It's the worst team in the league and they're relocating after the season so there's a lot of talk that they're tanking for the draft. Morrow is the 2nd best scorer and best rebounder on the team and they bring her off the bench. Also WNBA front offices haven't taken a step forward as evidenced by the atrocious draft day trade involving Flaujae so nonsensical personnel decisions happen all the time.

But what's worse is that they kept Van Lith on Clark throughout the game when it was crystal clear it wasn't working. They didn't try anything else.
We didn't need to stop Clark - just slow her down a bit. 16 of Iowa's 37 opponents that year managed to hold Clark under 30 points. We gave up 41.
