What made you go to an LSU game?

Just curious.

I agree. The guy was a nice as could be. He had a brother that lived in NOLA for a while but had never been to a game here. His sons signed onto LSU after Katrina, I'm guessing with all the stuff the university did to help New Orleans and it's citizens.

I was right next to him when the players and the band walked down the hill. It was pretty special for them, I could tell. I still love it.

I just wasn't sure about this guy saying "You want to be a meauxron." Don't rip on it.

He was sold on it. Don't be that one bad fan that screws everything up.

Real glad you had a good time.. You picked a good one to come to and you definitely need to make a good night game one of these years.

I'm hoping to get to an LSU game this year. Never been, heard it is an unbelievable experience.

Try making it for the Auburn game.. Might just be a night game and a classic rival so atmosphere will be electric

I've always been attracted to the game atmosphere here. My kids started rooting for LSU after Katrina.

Thanks! Think I'll keep wearing UVA shirt so we can keep meeting people. Of course, the food and booze isn't bad either!

wahoo, if your son is interested in LSU, y'all should take a look at Honors College....if he's as bright as i'm assuming....he can get just as good an education there, have a lot more fun, and he'd have a shot at a full ride.....

I think you've hit upon a great idea. Send him to LSU Honors College as an undergraduate, then UVA for grad school, as a previous poster suggested. He gets to experience LSU for four years and gets a good education as well.

My nephew, who is an honor student himself, looked at attending UVA, but the financial assistance just wasn't there....

eta: Glad you had a great time at the game! Come again!
