We play each other next in 2020 at LSU. Maybe they'll switch that game to USCe if this one is moved to BR.

I don't see how because of how all the other SEC games work with home/away and because it is LSU and we are South Carolina.

Then again, SEC scheduling could be completely different by 2020.

My bad. My brain is still stuck on the old schedule format.

I am available to attend at 6 pm Saturday so the move to Tiger Stadium is OK by me. Or 4 pm. Or 11 am.

Whatever.

From USCe CockyTalk
quote:
One of my guys from the FD just returned from a tour in Columbia. He says the Bluff Rd bridge between I 77 and the stadium collapsed yesterday. He says word among emergency officials is that there is o way to logistically handle this game. Now i can tell you that emergency officials will not make a decision on whether or not to hold a game but they will have input.
Also a major bridge leading to the stadium collapsed yesterday. I would bet my arse that there is no way in hell this game will be held in USCe stadium.

I believe that is below I-77, which wouldn't affect traffic from I-77 to the stadium.

Not trying to argue, just trying to add clarity.

How will ticket exchange work? I assume we will have excess tickets since our stadium is bigger. I wonder how we can purchase those

I still have my plane tickets and hotel in Columbia. I'm ready to travel to the game anywhere. I just need to know where it'll be. I'm just shocked there has been no dedication yet.
Also, it's a little odd that major sports networks are not talking about this.

ESPN, sbnation, etc have had articles about it. I'm sure if it is moved, they'll talk more about it.

I just don't understand why USCe is dragging their feet on this. I get they would really like to keep it in Columbia.
No one is really talking about this. Which is odd to me.
I know I am voicing what others have already said but what about tickets, game time, travel? They sure aren't leaving the fans much time.

It is a major undertaking for a network to relocate equipment and crew to another location. If no word by this afternoon, game on in Columbia.

I've seen both ESPN and SEC network mention it. USC is doing everything they can not to lose a home conference game and a decision is coming soon. What else do you want them to say?

ESPN is talking about it. None of their competitors give a shite about it.

Did you expect it to be national news?

Can't LSU keep money to cover costs and give the rest to USC?? What happened with Arizona/LSU i. 2005??

And to the Bama fan above me saying LSU fans pretending to be sympathetic, you're a butt.

It wasn't directed at you or else I would have quoted. Just a general observation.
