And they even have Ohio State in the playoff over Oklahoma, meaning Washington State and Penn State both get NY6 at large spots over us.

Yep, the only concerning part is on the playoff website they mention giving consideration for matchups and geography (paraphrasing), so if someone is within a spot or two of us it may not be a total slam dunk.

I could see them maybe considering Washington State over us in the Fiesta. Maybe the G5 team gets consideration there because they don’t want to send UCF to the Peach two years in a row, or if it’s the MWC champ for geography reasons, then we couldn’t be placed against Florida in Atlanta.

Still a bit of a stretch though.

Agree. If Washington State wasn’t ahead of us before I’m not sure how they hop us with a loss.
