Look, I have no idea what LSU is doing. Frankly, I’m not sure LSU has any idea what LSU is doing.
But this is where we are with college sports, and the never-ending chase for cash. So why not push all the way to the ledge, and then try something really freaky?
Not only drastically different, but downright dangerous.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that part of the return from the fund was going to be increased earnings from Athletics Department?

If the fund is getting a percentage of profits with no cap, the amount they'd get would go up, not stay the same.

Could a quote more perfectly summarize how poorly the media and skeptics have assessed what LSU is trying to do? Everyone is cycling towards the cliff and at least LSU is being proactive.

I am cautiously optimistic. There really isn’t enough information and clarity from the public to really assess one way or another. I think they’re saying all of the right things though.
I really like Greg Williams is involved as an outside party and the attorney general is involved each step of the way.
Plus the actual few inside guys on the boards that would be privy to the concept are very excited about the potential. There is 100% more information on the table we haven’t disclosed.

No such thing as good reporting anymore....I will say with no one knowing exactly what LSU is doing does have me concerned as should everyone be concerned until there is more information on what is happening.

What a terrible article. The old. I don’t understand exactly what they’re doing so it must be going to far and bad.
