Really? Most people expected something in the 4.5 range. That time made some poeple turn their heads.

I wonder if the official time will be 4.5, which is still quick. I was thinking 4.55

anyone know about when they'll start the DB drills? Stuck at home studying all day, may tune in to watch Tyrann tear that shite up.

That's a really good run. Hope he keeps it or does better next run

Did anyone really expect him to bench 225 a shite ton of times??

How many reps did Deion Sanders do? I'm not spouting off but I would bet he wasn't a powerhouse in the weight room.

His 40 time is probably a good explanation for why we never got beat for a long TD is his career. You ain't seen nothing yet. Don't be surprised when his shuttle time ranks at the top. His changed of direction ability is second to none.

and tyrann is an incredible tackler 1v1.. (lead the team in tackles as a sophomore) especially against guys twice his size.. which makes him all the more valuable.

Yeah, all I need to know that is to watch the second punt return vs UGA where he weaved in and out of their entire punt unit.

That's right when he was on the team and working out constantly with the team year round. He was really good when that was going on.

Speed - big check
Quickness - check
Instinct - big check
Size and Strength are the only shortcomings.

I think it's all up to him (mentally) how successful he'll be.

Your absolutely correct, hope he gets onto a good team with excellent ppl around him. But I thought he had that at LSU.

Looks so much sexier.

He looked very fast. Faster than I thought he was. Someone is going I get a steal!

The only people who didn't think he was fast were Bama fans and people on here that think Bama fans aren't just saying what they are saying because a player doesn't play for their team. He ran down Trent Richardson. He ran down LaMichael James and Thomas. He ran down Dennis Johnson. You can put together a who's who of college stars that he has kept off the corner, made a saving tackle. Hell he ran down Justin Hunter (pre-gimp) and Da'Rick Rodgers (AKA Hillbilly badger).

ETA: Don't say that isn't true, either. Look at the number of threads started by our own fans claiming he can't cover. That is straight out of the Gump playbook.

with how bad the NFL network guys have been, i'm waiting to see where his official time is. probably will be in the 4.55 range, which is what i figured

he did measure up better than i expected, which is good for him

No but everyone expected more than 4....

2012:
Brooks 12
Gilmore 15

With Jackson, Janzen, Minnifield, Chase, and Presley, De'Andre doing less than 10 out of defensive backs
2011:
Prince did 11
Dowling 19
Patrick 13
Peterson 15
Sherman 16

Only Demarcus Van Dyke did less than 10 out of defensive backs

So I don't think it is vastly important but looking back many of the DB's taken in first 2 rounds all did at least 10

a whole year off from football probably played a part in him lifting 225 pounds 4 times. Still though if he knew he wasnt lifting it at least 10 times then he should have skipped it all together. Noone would have cared how many times he could lift 225 pounds.
