No, you said that he did 9 at the combine. I didn't indicate he did less, I said he did that number at his pro day. Then I asked if anyone knew if pro day weight lifting numbers are usually better or does it not matter like 40 times.

Here is your offending line that threw me off:

quote:

And at [Pacman's] pro day it has 0 which means he didn't participate unless you can link me another site than LINK

Nope.... Wrong again, so apparently you misread

I said,
quote:

Adam Jones also did 9, and had 2 disqualified before of improper form

I didn't mention combine till after your statement I quoted before which then I stated it says 0 at combine indicating he did not participate.

And that was after the fact as well, so you misread the original which led to me mistyping the follow up

Just so we can see whole conversation and how it developed....

You:
quote:

Adam Jones didn't hit double digits and he went 6th overall. It doesn't matter at that position because it only takes one and the skill they are really after isn't bench pres

My Response:
quote:

Adam Jones also did 9, and had 2 disqualified before of improper form

Your Response:
quote:

At his pro day though. Which I'm not sure if it offers an advantage like the 40 does, but it is worth mentioning

Then my response:
quote:

And at his pro day it has 0 which means he didn't participate unless you can link me another site than LINK

So the confusion comes from you thinking I was talking 9 from Combine and then hinting at it was wrong and then me putting "pro day" instead of "combine" in my follow up. So in theory we were both incorrect

No. The confusion comes from you saying that he didn't participate at a pro day.

It doesn't matter, this thread is about Mathieu's combine. When is his next participation?

Pro-day comment came after you indicated that he did less than 9 some where else.... Which is what I got when I read
quote:

At his pro day though. Which I'm not sure if it offers an advantage like the 40 does, but it is worth mentioning
Which was posted before what I mis-typed....

I give up. If you can't just say my bad and get back on topic, then you can't.

Again, when is his next participation? What is left for him to do?

I figured that it would go up because he had some significant arm movement at the start that hurt him.

4.5 is not good for TM7, he probably expected to post a low 4.4

No disrespect to Mathieu, but there are over 5 threads started on him. He is not the only former LSU player at the combine. I just read where Eric Reid finished first out of the DB's. How about some love for him?
