ugh... it should have helped him as he had nothing else to do other than work out at the REC

He has a solid support group in Revis, Peterson, Webster, and Claiborne

The only people who didn't think he was fast were Bama fans and people on here that think Bama fans aren't just saying what they are saying because a player doesn't play for their team. He ran down Trent Richardson. He ran down LaMichael James and Thomas. He ran down Dennis Johnson. You can put together a who's who of college stars that he has kept off the corner, made a saving tackle. Hell he ran down Justin Hunter (pre-gimp) and Da'Rick Rodgers (AKA Hillbilly badger).

ETA: Don't say that isn't true, either. Look at the number of threads started by our own fans claiming he can't cover. That is straight out of the Gump playbook.

Personally, I thought his two most impressive "run downs" were:
1) In the 2011 SECCG, a Georgia WR beat Claiborne on a long pass. Claiborne had no shot at chasing him down. Mathieu came from clear on the other side of the field to catch the Bulldog WR from behind.
2) Against WVU in 2011, Tavon Austin beat an LSU linebacker (Hatcher) across the middle, and appeared headed for a long touchdown run after the catch. But Mathieu caught him. Granted, Mathieu had the angle, but Austin is supposedy the kind of blazer that negates "angles".

How many reps did Deion Sanders do? I'm not spouting off but I would bet he wasn't a powerhouse in the weight room.

Deion ran a 4.21 in hightops and just kept going out of the building. It was the only "drill" he did.

id anyone really expect him to bench 225 a shite ton of times??

4 reps for an uninjured D1 athlete is really bad. The strength program should have them benching at least 10 reps.

Deion Sanders is in cahoots with TM7's keeper. Not saying he doesn't deserve the hype but it would be different if Deion had no affiliation with anyone TM7 knows.

To this whole thing, I say

To this by itself, I say

Teams aren't concerned about his bench reps. He has a nose for the ball. That can't be measured

Really really talking him up. He loves Tyrann. That single handily helped Tyranns stock.

Those are pretty good too. I liked him chasing down Moody, forcing the fumble, then recovering it like a MF boss.

Moody benched 225 24 times at his pro day. Still no match for the badger's prowess.

This is like saying, "What does MJ know, he doesn't post on the rant." When talking basketball talent....

Being a great talent doesn't equal being able to identify talent. A few years ago wasn't Deion high on another player he was working out with who ended up a bust?

Not saying TM7 will be a bust just playing devils advocate because it is a slow morning.

Just saying Cricket, just because of hype from a former(fantastic) player doesn't mean he's telling the truth. Deion is making up for that sorry arse bench stat he put up yesterday. I really feel for TM7 but damn what has he been doing?? I thought he was trying to make it in the NFL and make a little money in the process. I hope he runs a faster 40 and shuttle than most.

watch the drills.....he easily has the most fluid hips, his ball skills are better than 90% of the group, he ran a 4.43, his tape is ridiculous. He's easily set him self up to be back to where he was prior to his off-field discretions. He looks good in the skills drills.

I do not understand what the big deal is with the bench.

Big deal. He's as solid of a tackler as any corner around. He looks super sharp in the running drills.. So maybe just maybe he doesn't put up a ton of reps.

Just watched his backpedal drills, and TM7 was among the most fluid out there. His ball skills were the best of the bunch, period. High pointed the ball both times, caught it cleanly, and was right into his run. Very athletic.

OAN, Milliner looks very stiff.
