Team Ticket Reservations - AllState BCS Championship Game

Updated 11/20 prices of LSU reservations:

Terrace: $430
Plaza: $827
Premium Terrace: $800
Club Sidelines: $3000

quote:

How Does This Work?
The Team Ticket Reservation marketplace broadens access to the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game tickets by giving fans the ability to purchase a Reservation that guarantees the opportunity to purchase a face value ticket to the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game if their team qualifies. Each Team Ticket Reservation purchased (maximum Ten (10) per team, per household) guarantees the purchaser the right and obligation to buy one (1) ticket at face value for the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game if the team qualifies. Face value cost is a separate charge over and above the price you pay for your Team Ticket Reservation.

Please keep in mind that if your team fails to qualify for the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game your Team Ticket Reservations will expire and no refunds will be given for purchased Team Ticket Reservations, and tickets will not be provided. However, up until the market closes you can trade your Reservations in your teams' marketplace. Be sure to check the marketplace as the season progresses as bids to buy may be posted at anytime.

Buying:
You can purchase a Team Ticket Reservation for one (1) ticket for any team you believe will qualify for the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game. If your selected team qualifies for the 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game, your purchase of Team Ticket Reservation guarantees you face value tickets to the game!

You are buying the right to buy an lsu bcscg ticket at 165 bucks. If they don't make it that right is worthless, if they do it's quite valuable.

So if they get there and I bought the right, I'm promised a ticket?

Yes, if they don't you're out $330 (assuming you by two).

Yes, assuming there are no problems.

You would then pay face value for the ticket. If they don't make it, you are out the $165 per...it's a gamble for sure.

I think my business partner bought a pair of options for LSU.

We did this for the 2007 BCS title game and it worked out.

Hmm... looked at the pricing chart. I think I'll wait for after the Nov. 5th game to decide. The price to reserve only jumps to $195.

Yes, if LSU makes it, you have the right to buy a face value ticket....Ex. In my case, I bought 3 LSU Plaza reserves....So if LSU makes it, my credit card will get charged for the face value of the ticket which is $350 x 3.

If they don't make it, you lose what you paid up front.

Up until the end, though, you can buy/sell your options at the market price. Obviously, if LSU keeps winning (and especially after the Bama game assuming we win), the price of the LSU reserve is going to skyrocket.

How pissed were you after the Arky game that year?

we also did it in 2007 and it worked out perfectly....my only regret is not buying more LSU reserves after the Arky loss when they were going for $10 each.

You're assuming LSU reserves don't sell out before then. If they do, the market price will be a lot higher than the listed chart on the spreadsheet.

Bama's reserves have already sold out, and thus the much higher market price for Bama reserves at the moment.

I will never forget in 2007 when I had paid 30 bucks for 4 Missouri tickets and tried selling them before their loss at around 250 each but the servers went down and didnt come back up until they were getting curb stomped in the Big 12 championship game.

Not to mention I had 4 LSU reserves that season I purchased really cheap that I sold after the Ark loss.

Last time I play that football stock market.

If LSU wins on Nov. 5th the price will be much higher than $195

I think that was the year I lost $1,200 buying Oregon reserves.
