Updated Kelly has selected LSU’s QB but will not be anounced until game day

Kelly had stated he and his staff would determine LSU’s starting QB Sunday. So it likely already has been announced to the LSU players. But with no sighting or even a hint Sunday evening on social media by a player or media member, Kelly is clearly proving who is the boss of LSU football. You talk about running a tight ship, this man is almost Sabanish in his control of players and media.

From what I hear, which isn’t much, is that the guy Kelly has selected is a great passer and has decent speed. He’ll win us some games. Some of the other players aren’t loving it, but they respect his decision. All I am going to say is y’all will love it.

The players already know. Everyone else finds out at noon tomorrow. It’s the worlds worst kept secret at this point. Kelly is going with the guy with more experience at least initially. Nuss will be on his heels though.

Sure seems that way when you hear the way BK gushed about him then add that we already know that both BK and Denbrock both like the more mobile QBs.
Either way both guys will get a chance to play regardless of who trots out there first next weekend. This thing is far from over.

It really doesn't matter. Whoever doesn't start will be getting mop up reps by the 4th quarter.
I'm more intrigued by where Kelly decides to let Howard get reps this year since their is so much leeway on playing before you burn your redshirt.

My take is that, that’s what every single insider ambiguously says… it’s stupid. I wish people would commit to their word and just admit when they’re wrong, or just admit they don’t have sources.
