That was back in 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Wade promoted him to an assistant coach for 2019-20 season.

Didn’t the ncaa start allowing an extra assistant spot a couple years ago and they promoted Tas ? Im not sure he’s done any off campus recruiting but he’s more of a player/staff liaison guy. Hope he sticks around or gets on somewhere else

Just a title upgrade reward, he’s still doing the same thing.

Tasmin is NOT a coach. He is a LSU NAME...I watched him quite often on the bench and he always looked out of place. All I really saw him do is high five and arse slap the players....

I'm not saying McMahon should keep Taz and promote him to the lead assistant role. But almost every major program staff has a guy or two who is on staff moreso for recruiting purposes than in game coaching. It wasn't Taz's role to draw up sets and give in game instructions. That was Wade and Armstrong's role. But it isn't as if Taz doesn't understand basketball and doesn't work with the players in practice. Just because you didn't see him in the huddle drawing up an in-bounds set doesn't mean he didn't have a role on the staff.

If only he(Pinson) was as good as he thought he was he. Don't get me wrong someone will take him but he's already at his ceiling. Hell, at this rate he might set the record for number of transfers in a career. This might tell you the character of this guy.

Good luck to those young men. Hopefully they have much success. They are all gonna leave and that’s fine. I can’t blame them. On the other hand I want people who want to be here to start the rebuild. It’s gonna be a long 2-3 years.

He’s a good player he’s just not a point guard. Just look at his numbers playing the 2 at Missouri vs what he did at LSU playing point this season. He doesn’t see the floor like a point guard and he’s better off the catch with his perimeter shooting.

He won't.

He transferred out of a terrible Mizzou program to come play on a team that had a chance at making some noise in the tournament.

He now is potentially transferring from a program staring down a potential post-season ban next year.

Nobody will view him poorly for making either of those decisions.

Figured Pinson was going to try the nba.

We really need to go hard re-recruiting Murray.

Looks like Matt’s conversation with these 2 didn’t go as planned…

Just shows that Nickleby didn’t care about winning that tourney game, he was recruiting, that’s why the rotations were handled like they were. Bad choice to be the interim.

If he was shopping himself as a package with players he would've gotten a job far less tenuous than Patrick Ewing's Georgetown. That tenure could be over by late December. Players might follow him because he's already got a connection to them and Georgetown has ample pt to offer.

If Woodward was going to fire Wade it was his responsibility to keep the team together. He should be alongside McMahon personally laying out the plan for our current guys.
