Hopefully Belding pushes one of our catchers to the bench, so swap out 20+ home runs for maybe 5, but it’ll be worth it.

Bide or serna will catch almost every game next year and they will be damn good at it . way too talented to not develop. im guessing serna catches the most important and the highest number of games

Serna? Maybe he will show defensive progress he is still young. Bide? He regressed from the end of his freshman year to last year. Any progress it looked like he made in year one was lost. He was awful at times last year.

Agree, I hold out a little hope for Serna.
That said, I think we’d be totally cool putting Santarelli at C and re-breaking ground on left-handed dudes behind the plate.
