Alabama has no such restrictions or needs and they seem to win pretty frequently.
Right. And when LSU starts stringing together seven #1 recruiting classes in row LSU will be afforded that luxury too. Until then, LSU needs to prove on a regular basis that when needed, they can pass the ball down field consistently and to win a game. We havent seen it yet but Im confident we will.

With that being said, we'll have to see what Canada will do in a full season with an experienced, senior QB. I mean, what more could he ask for this year...

Until our fanbase grows a set of balls, we will have to listen to candy asses fans cry about what we will never be able to do.
Here is a novice idea for all of the (fans) that have a bag of sand in their vag. Dunk yourselves in a barrel of douche, clean all of the sand out of your vag, and join the rest of us who saw a good game on Saturday and are cautiously optimistic about some God Damn LSU Football.

The defense looked great. The offense looked more one dimensional than ever. Running 75% of the time makes you one dimensional. Isnt that what the rant has screamed for years, but now that's ok?
The win was good. I give it a B.

This doesn't merit any response.

Running 75% of the time because you have to makes you one dimensional

This is by far the the most invalid response yet. Using Texas A&M game for an excuse for passing too much. That was all 3rd and Chavis asshat. You should know bc we have been on the losing end of Chavis prevent defense too! If we pass well enough to be up 44-10, then I'd say the passing game did its job. No way in hell Aranda let's that happen.
Bitch that was one small part of the response. They gave up 35 when they could have run it out. My point was about changing the mentality of your team. You don't just throw it around at 20 yards a clip efficiently unless that is your identity. It's college. They only have so many hours to practice. If you think we need to be able to throw it every down to be able to score 44 on a team like ucla you are as dumb as he is. Gfy stupid arse

Optical allusion...or did Guice look better in relief of Fournette last year? His performance didn't jump off the screen last week like it did last year. You think it's because it was unexpected last year or was he a different back last weekend?

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.. since you appear to have the intellect of a penis wrinkle. To be frank, I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and shite a better post than those.

Well now, we really don't know which way that plays out, do we? All we know after game one was that we ran 75% of the time. Is that really what any of us saw happening. It's almost as if the staff said, lets not give the fans what they want to see.
Is it a big deal after game one? No, but it is funny after all the Air Canada post.

Still have to have a credible ground game to set up the pass. The longer you keep the other team's offense off the field and have the opportunity to wear down their defense, the less you will have to worry about those two minute drills. Nothing wrong with having a two minute drill, but you are going to win consistently if you live and die by that. I liked what I saw against BYU. I doubt we show much more of our package against Tenn-C. The wraps probably don't come off until Florida, Auburn, and Alabama. Until then, just get those youngsters some playing time and needed experience.

Pigs must be flying. I actually agree with Groupee. Very one dimensional offense and, quite frankly, we're lucky Guice didnt get banged up running play after play.
I'm giving CEO the benefit however. Now if we run the same scheme against the Mocassins, I'm officially concerned cuz we've either reverted back to Miles style or we plain suck in the passing game and don't want to admit it.

Not saying that needs to be our offense, but we need to be capable of doing so or else we will continue to be a second or third place team in the SEC.
I am way late to this party but this post is true. Canada's offense may be capable of that but we have not seen it yet. We have not been able to throw a 15 yd pass over the middle since Mett left. When I see us throw some seam routes up the hash or some drags over the middle then I will believe we have advanced the needle. So far we have only showed "smoke and mirrors"

Someone who gets it...we've had good defenses and solid running games the past ten years but the elite teams (namely Bama) have gotten the best of us. No matter how good your running backs are, the elite teams that can match you in the trenches will eventually stack the box and force you to beat them through the air.
You guys are arguing against a point that was your basis for firing Miles and you think I'm the idiot. Redunculous.
Canada needs to have these guys trained to win a game through the air if we want to win a championship. Not saying he won't, just saying its a necessary ingredient that we still haven't seen yet, so pump your brakes children.
I'm with ya 100%
Clemson beat Bama throwing the ball 57 times. Ole miss beat them last year with 43.
Not saying we need to throw that much, but If we can throw it, we need to get to it.
I enjoyed the efficiency. We need balance. Maybe we have it and don't know it
