Dugas has to the heralded hero but with all that transpired in the game, who is the unsung hero?

Bianco for his catch and 2 run homer?
Marceaux for gutting out 46 pitches?
Thompson for the clutch hit in the 8th to get the insurance run?

Other?
What a game, damn I'm sleepy this morning.

Drew Bianco.

The guy banged all his teachers in high school and speaks 6 different languages, including Pig Latin.

Bianco was the MVP of the game. But really that was one of the best team wins all year

Fontenot. The threat of him coming in inspired Marceaux to finish strong.

Unsung hero was whoever decide to try to pick off a guy at first that not only had not stole a base all season but was standing on the bag!

I’ll go with Beloso -putting the ball in play to the right side of the infield against Somers (Bottom 8th) to score Dugas from 3rd. It was lefty vs lefty, Beloso had struggled all game to make contact, and Somers is damn good.

Tipping point for our Tigers IMO

Don’t forget Milazzo. Don’t run on Milazzo. And he didn’t let anything get past him in the 9th.

Unsung?

Milazzo for throwing multiple people out on base.

or Beloso for putting the bat on the ball against a tough lefty allowing Dugas to tie it.

It was perfect contact. Hard enough and right at someone to make them think they had a play, but not too soft that he grounds out.

The way I see it, nearly everyone had a role to play in last night’s win, and that’s just what you want with a team so young. Everyone walks away with experience and confidence up and down the roster.

But I vote for Marceaux.

I agree. Almost everyone played a part in the wins this weekend.

Cade Doughty’s 8th inning at bat has been overshadowed. This kid struggled all weekend at the plate. But he came up, down one, with one runner on base and hit a double double down the line. Doughty had two doubles last night after hitting about 12 pop ups in the previous 4 games.

labas wont get mentioned but he should. he ate up 8 innings on sunday when they absolutely needed it to save the bullpen and allowed then to save every arm possible. couple that with the way labas has thrown down the stretch and it was just as impressive/valuable as what coleman did.

If you're talking regional, I'll go with Crews. Crews' bat went cold last night but he carried the team though the rest of the regional.

He’s as good BEHIND the plate as he is bad AT the plate…not sure I’ve ever really seen that.

Oregon coach for calling all those throws to first until it backfired.
