OP thank you for your post. The vast majority of the OT despises ghetto culture. The black community needs to take a look at Tony Clayton, the Iberville Parish DA who doesn't put up with tPOS bull shite in his parish and actively hands down life sentences, harsh punishments, and pursues habitual offender status for tPOS that continue to break the law feloniously. This is the role model and leader that the black community needs, not NBAYoungboy, Boosie, and the plethora of other black rappers that boast about violence, drugs, and killing people in their music.
I'm not sure how you change the single mom and grandmother raising the kids situation. A strong father figure at home is what it needed, and rarely exists in the black community. The foundation is set for a strong, moral, and ethical upbringing at the home front.

In the 90's, people on the Strip in Lafayette were randomly beaten, maimed and killed. My friend's little brother got dragged into a car and had his throat cut, though he lived, and a guy I went to school with was shot in the chest and killed, both responding to fake requests for directions by black guys in cars. In all cases, no altercation or confrontation preceded the attacks. It's was just 'hey, let's go frick up some white dudes.'
It's been going on for a long time.
