Unpopular opinion - Wade GOOD but not ELITE

i think this is an accurate and fair opinion.

Wade hasnt done anything to prove to anyone he is elite. But he is by far better than MM and if he makes the tourney each year alot of people will be happy with that.

Wade will get you to a Sweet 16 or a Second Round game......that's an improvement.

Thats what I thought. A little backtracking bitch, scared if his shadow. Tell me, you agree with this ELITE individual resigning thru an email? After what NC St gave and offered him? Is that character? Is it elite? Is it anything that rises to a decent moral man? Now, woth that outta the way....go ahead and give me his "elite" basketball qualification

None of the comments/ opinions you have in any of your posts this thread of his handling of nc state have ANYTHING to do with being an elite coach. You’re doing exactly as madking said and not even stating what you mean by elite. Because you can’t, factually. You make statements as if they’re facts that aren’t connected to the debate of being elite. That’s a non sequitur since I’m sure you’re confused by his use of the word. You don’t seem very bright. Just emotionally charged drivel because you liked McMahon more than Wade.

See, they won’t define it because then we’d have to get into actual facts and data and they don’t want that

Ding ding ding ding dinnngggg.

Same thing over and over and over going back to their arguments that McMahon is not a shite coach and Wade is somehow a bad coach.
I especially love when they say Wade isn’t good at the X’s and O’s When the guy ran I believe 3 different offenses in five years because he did what great coaches do and adjusted to the players.

I remember asking them to name some offenses other people ran and the only thing they could come up with was “motion” lol.

He’s absolutely average X-O guy. His

This the oldest and probably, no definitely, the dumbest argument against Wade dating back to his first year here. Wade changed his WHOLE offense multiple times in his first five years at LSU to fit the talent he had.
Which is EXACTLY what elite coaches do instead of running the same shite and forcing squares into round holes.
It’s so laughable when you morons said McMahon was a great X’s and O’s coach when the dude ran the same exact offense every year and NEVER made an in game adjustment that I can remember on offense or defense. And in his offense he had a handful of plays he’d call and he’d usually if not always call one play each possession and then the players would look lost until they heaved a low percentage shot at the last couple seconds. Dale brown was a better X’s and O’s coach than McMahon and he was terrible at it. But at least Dale could inspire and build a roster. McMahon could do neither. It’s astonishing he made it this far in his career.

He’s purely analytics based on that side so if they believe “muh street ball” is an analytics based offense then who are we to stop them from being idiots?

This can be a real statement right? Look past his record that is the highest win percentage in LSU history?

Also name the coaches that led 4 different programs to the NCAAT by age of 43. His best team got to the Sweet 16 with Tony Benford in the coaches box, due to dicknose Alleva reading a Pat Forde article. Imagine if the head coach actually got to coach his team that he led to 16 SEC wins in a single season.

In an interview, after everything thats happened he said "and ill follow a few more rules"....or something to that effect. Hes an idiot His thinking is flawed and it will show up, long term, for the program.

What does that have to do with anything?? His statement was a joke and many or most found it funny because the rules he broke are now not rules anymore.
You keep outing yourself as not only someone who doesn’t know anything about basketball but also an idiot in the general sense.

How is that unpopular?

Nobody said he is elite. He’s obviously not.

He’s a good coach. That’s what we need.

Yeah, and it wasn’t an interview, he was a passenger in a vehicle with the window down and made a joke to the reporters filming.

We got some real idiots on this board.

Exactly! And he’s also, wait for it, just a hair over 40! Hopefully we have him for two decades and he grows like most coaches do. Which I’m sure he will

What?!?! He just took NC state to the tourney.
He also did it with McNeese AND they beat Clemson in a huge upset in the first round. How can you idiots keep making these statements when you have no clue of the history or the data

He’s made 8 of the last 9 tourneys. He’s tied for 5th nationally in consecutive tourneys made and he hasn’t been at the blue blood schools that are 1 through 4.
