This. It was more the South Endzone, not just the SW corner. I think they were the loudest simply because that's the end where the play was and they were the first to realize what was going on. Still an embarrassment.

As I said right after the game, there were a whole lot of people there on Saturday who were booing who were NOT the regular season ticket holders. I wish the regulars would use their damn tix! Last week there was a semi-retarded guy who yelled every half-assed thought that popped into his head right behind me (and, yes, he booed), the game before there was a guy in front of us who farted the whole damn game. Not sure which was worse.

it'd be nice if some greeks rallied and went to some basketball games and didn't sit on their hands

I love how as time goes on, any negative action of fandom gets eventually shunted to being the student's fault.

Folks, it was fairly evenly spread the entire stadium.

In fact, to me the noise seemed to be mostly coming from OUTSIDE the SS

Freedom of speech. The university can't prohibit it.

Just like with the stupid P&G rebel flags. They can come out and say they don't condone it, but they can't prohibit it.

Most of the booing definitely came from the upper south side.

why doesn't the university try to address the cause of the booing!!!!!!!

Here is How
1. ANY student athlete that has ANY criminal charge more than a traffic ticket would be barred from all team activities until criminal proceedings are done.
2. Part of returning to the team would include a sincere public apology to the team and university for damaging the university's reputation.
3. The university needs to take a clear stand that integrity, honor, truth, morals, and academic achievement takes priority over money and national championships. And stop condoning/enabling the thuggish behavior of some of our athletes.
And if some athletes don't want to come to LSU because they have to behave and can't act like a bunch of thugs I can live with it. Even if we don't win a game all year.

This is not true. Exactly the opposite. Most of the student section were looking at each other wondering why the other side of the stadium was booing.
