In what way is someone who is on the waiting list going to contribute in a "positive way" more so than a student?

yes, old white people boo'd. They should all take their money and send it to another university.

I sat on the 30 yard line of the visitors side and the boo's were CLEARLY coming from my left side (South Endzone)!

Boos came from everyone.
People are overreacting to the boos. Boos happen for all major sports teams that have huge fan bases.
This is not some isolated incident that only occurs at LSU.

I was in the East Upper Deck and heard boos from all over the stadium, including my own area. I think there were lots of boos from the student section, but it's wrong to single them out.

Not true at all. By mid-first quarter the section was completely packed. Remember, there is not really assigned seating in the Greek Section and everyone crowds lower and closer toward midfield for a better view. If you go to the next game, check to see where the most densely occupied section is(I'll give you a hint, it's the Greek Section).
