Remains to be seen with the BK hire, but JJ is underwhelming to this point. Kim is the only home run hire right now.

I’ve actually had a wonderful time watching this team. With a bit of a rest they’ll be lethal.

Isn’t Kim mulkey nearly 20 years older? Jay had his team in the national championship and Kim mulkey hit her stride around his age.

I wonder what the rant thought of Kim mulkey when pokey Chatman skull fricked Baylor by 20+ when they met.

We will be fine postseason. LSU easily makes it to Omaha which is a great year two goal

No, he’s not, but if you give him back Grant Taylor, chase Shores and Garrett Edwards, he’d be sitting pretty right now.

Heck just give me one pitcher like Hurd pitching well and we would be ok. I think Colman has pitched ok but he is not all the way back and able to extend. I can not believe not one pitcher has stepped up after the Shores and Edwards injury.

If we can’t beat Miss State or Auburn 2/3 games how do some people think we’ll make it out of the Super Regional?

If you beat #3 Arkansas(including a 10 run rule), #17 Kentucky(another 10 run game), and #23 Tennessee as well as split with #6 South Carolina, how could they not?

See how that selective logic works.

Whether or not they make it out of a Super will wholly depend on who is effective in that series. The bullpen problem is not that they are always bad, just inconsistent, so if they are hitting that series, LSU likely wins.

Do you know how all the other team’s pitching is doing?

Haha geeze you people are nuts. JJ has put together an incredible team this year. Its unfortunate that key pitching injuries has weaken the team, give them a chance to fix the problem, there is still plenty of time for this pitching staff to make a turn around. Baseball ebbs and flows, we are in an ebb. Its not about who has the best team, its about who is starting to peak when tourney time comes around. This bullpen can be improved.

I'm sorry but did we play those series two weeks ago?

It's flawed because mine is based on how LSU is doing RIGHT NOW as opposed to over a month ago.

Are you saying that what happened a month ago is no indication of what will happen now?

How long until we play in a Super again?

Either there is nothing wrong with my reasoning (particularly since it is aimed a pointing out the flaw with thinking any weekend in baseball means anything outside of what happened that weekend) and yours is flawed or the counter is that my logic is flawed because what happens in a series is no indicator of what will happen in a month but then yours is also flawed because the super is nearly a month away.

That feels like an overreaction.

I'm saying if putting it down as historical data to trend where this team is now that a safe bet is to look at what happened at the past two weekends rather than what happened over a month ago. What do you think is more likely to use as a prediction tool?

I don't know what you just said but it sounds (and reads) really stupid. Sounds like you know I'm right and now you're arguing just to argue.

Let me lay it out for you a little simpler. Either what we did a month ago is still relevant so your logic is flawed or what we did a month ago is not relevant so what we did now will not be relevant in a month therefore your logic is still flawed.

Yes, baseball can be a game of streaks and trends but let's see what happens next weekend and in the SEC tournament before we write of a team that is still ranked in the top 5 despite having it's worst run of the season.

I wonder what they thought when Kim was holding up the trophy at the end of the year after beating LSU. I wonder what people thought win Pokey was fired for poking her players.
