There is a reason he was the #1 QB recruit in the country.

How would we know if MVB has poise or not

That’s not a great accomplishment so far this season.

I don’t blame Sloan because $10mil is $10mil, but if underwood was the only reason Sloan was hired then I don’t understand why we kept his stupid arse

The fact that he was promoted just to try and keep Underwood was a catastrophic mistake by BK

This is a weird talking point on here that has no facts. underwood liked his relationship with him but like any recruit today, it's about money first and always. To add to this, it wasn't the only reason. BK always has an OC he can control. Easiest way to do that is use a young guy he can control or a friend. That's the main reason Sloan got the job. His ego will not allow LSU to hire a 2 million a year OC to wholly run the offense themselves. Worst thing that could've happened here is put up the offense they did with JD because now that just further fuels BK's ego that he+Denbrock put that together. Now you see remnants off still remaining from JD's era with the scheme. What are we left with? A coaching staff of BBQ buddies for BK who runs the offense how he wants it and they all suck at their job including BK.

Against a shitty Wisconsin?

He looked worse than Nuss against OU but at least he is just a freshman

vs OU, 9/24 142 yds, 3 rushes, -1yds

He didn’t put the ball in the end zone until week 3. If he’d have done that here the Rant would’ve already deemed him the worst ever.

he can scramble and throw on the run. reminds me of bryce young.

some of his passes to the flat are too damn hard. has to reign in his touch but he has huge potential

I think trying to keep some continuity on offense after Kelly wiped out the entire defensive staff after 23 had something to do with him being promoted, as well. But once he underperformed last season and Underwood bailed, he should have been replaced.

He still has to learn to put touch on some of his passes. He tries to rocket it every throw. I like his agility though. If he can start to understand what the defense is showing him, and perfect his passing he will be very good. Size and athleticism is there.

He has poise because he knows he’s the best athlete on the field.

sad when a true freshman steps in and looks better than a senior at the same position.
