Underwood was literally in a Les Miles 2007 offense at Michigan last year

Are we really pretending he wouldn’t light it up in a 2026 Kiffin offense?

Anybody you see on this board saying they don’t want him is a petty hypocrite who would make the same decision he did 100/100 times.

The kid was all in on LSU for over a year and some here say it was all a facade and he wanted to frick us over lol..

He will be the QB at LSU next year.

did he say he was going to enter?

if not, what makes you think hes a sure thing to enter? I doubt hes at Michigan because of some shitty head coach

Have you watched him play? It’s nothing personal, I don’t mind his decision. His play or lack thereof is my reason for not wanting him. There’s far superior and more mature talent out there.

2007 offense was legit. It started getting bad in 2008, and never recovered other than 2013.

Correct.

That Ohio State game was brutal. They literally were trying to hide Underwood.

LSU’s 2007 offense was legitimately good, jackass.

arguably the best offense in LSU history until 2019 and '23.

you probably want "2014 Les Miles offense" here.

I’ll trust in whatever Kiffin wants at this point.

Statistically, half our board is below average intelligence. And substantial vocal portion of those are legit retards. Don’t listen to these idiots.

You’re essentially developing a high school QB when a more proven and accomplished college level QB will be available is the issue.

That’s statistical stupidity. People who are capable of using the Internet are intellectually a cut above those who cannot, so the board users are going to be of higher average intelligence than the general population, so half the board will not be of below average. Maybe 35% or so, but not half.

Who was the last freshman QB at LSU who was a starter from day 1? What was their stat line for the year?

There’s a reason he was the #1 player in the country.. His freshman year stats weren’t great, yet his team finished 9-3 with 2 of those losses against playoff teams and the 3rd against a good USC team.

He can play, Lane Kiffin is our HC. Not that difficult of an equation.

First off, you don’t even know how to use the quote function. So you’re not really helping prove your point.

Second, if this isn’t an alter, you haven’t been here long enough to know probably well more than half our posters are below average intelligence (especially when it comes to sports).

Who are you, BTW? Apparently you know way more than the majority of us, who haven't received any word that Kiffin is even interested in snagging him to begin with...

This. I’m hoping Kiffen brings in a stabilizing, mature transfer QB who can play within the team and minimize turnovers. Develop a decent running game to compliment that with a great defense and we should be back in the hunt for the playoffs.
Now, if Underwood would come here and be willing to sit a year to be developed…..but we all know kids these days don’t do that.

Jaxson Dart Freshman year at USC
61.9% Completions, 9 TD, 5 INT, 7.2 yards rushing/Game

Byrce Underwood Freshman year at Mich
61.1% Completions, 9 TD, 6 INT, 26.9 yards rushing/Game

We all know what Jaxson did after transferring to OM and getting coached under Lane. Steady improvement year after year.

Does that affect his price tag? Numbers were VERY pedestrian.

Miles thought that the QB position was just the middle man between the center and the RB! Suprised he wasnt running the wing T by 2009. It would have been more productive than what we had!
