... at least I think it was him, (from the stands it looked like #28) chasing down the Bama RB at the 10 yard line and we go on to hold them to a FG.

It was a WR. In years past, they had the speed at WR that, a play like that was an easy 6 points. I think the fact he ran him down, gave them confidence we could play with and beat them

Was the turning point play of the game.

Wow! I just assumed it was McClellan the RB. Damn.

Will enter college with a lot of mileage on the tires. Tests well (4.57 40 verified), but can improve top-end play speed. Occasionally tracked down on longer runs.

The interception on the first drive was THE play of the game. Score a TD there and down hill. That play was that big

That ref set a beautiful block to set up that run too. Joking aside, Bama got most of their yards in big chunks. The defense played incredible tonight.

Delpit had a similar play against Auburn in '19, was the difference that game. It's a mindset.

Another play I forgot about was the Emery screen tuddie when he made a 5* cut and clowned the Bama defender on the sideline

I made this thread at halftime. It reminded me of Delpit chasing that guy down against Auburn in ‘19 when he could have easily let up and let him score.

As soon as Burns made that play, everybody I was watching with was pissed because of the big play, and I said, “yeah, that sucks, but look at 28 not giving up and busting his arse to make that tackle when he could have easily pulled up. It may not make a difference, but it could have saved us 7 or 4 points.”

And it saved us 4 fricking points. Helluvan effort Major Burns. The little things make a difference.

Based on Coach’s press conference, Burns messed up the coverage. He hustled to make a mistake at least not a touchdown.

And McElroy said Burns was lucky to catch him! How are you lucky to be fast enough to outrun someone? What an idiot!
