But then ask yourself why ULL has a 40,000 seat stadium and home attendance averaging 16,000. Ask yourself why LSU A&M has 100k plus stadium that average probably 65k? And plenty leaving at half. Just saying
Are you retarded? In 2018 LSU averaged 100,819 per game and only once did LSU have less than 100,000 enter the stadium for a game. Take your penis envy to RaginPagin.

this thread lost it's way when it became shitting on USL instead of focusing on the point, which was concession costs and whether or not it would be a solid policy change at Tiger stadium.
Yes. This.

The Costco food court of college football. I'm in.

Hey moron the point of lowering concessions is to boost attendance. Of course you would know this if you had a pea for a brain. Dumbass.

It’s like people don’t know how to eat before they attend a game.
If it’s too expensive for you, make a sammich before you leave.

Lsu has to change one of two things....either cut aramark and hire outside vendors to offer better products and more diverse options, like boudin balls, shrimp and grits, specialized pizza, pasta, etc. or drop your prices 20-30% to acknowledge the shite product aramark puts out

I went to a MLB (Reds) game this summer and they had a $20 all you want to eat wristband. for hotdogs, cokes, peanuts, and popcorn, and they let you share it with anybody. Pretty awesome to let the kids snack all game for $20.

What is that? A $6.00 bowl of rice? What a bargain.
that's cute. I can tell you've never made a jambalaya before.

If Woodward made this switch, it would sit well with a lot of fans.
His job is to generate revenue for the AD...can one of yall tell me how adjusting our concession stand prices will generate revenue?
Show me a comparable SEC school doing the same and then it would make sense. Can we get rid of parking passes and TAF fees also

If you cannot afford something then bitch about it being too expensive. American way now.

Also, teams that have lowered concession prices have actually made a higher total gross revenue
I find it simply remarkable everywhere hasn’t done it already. Either the people in charge are completely retarded, or they like to frick over fans even at the cost of making less money

aren't we in a contract right now where we get x amount every game whether or not concessions sell?

I have been making Jambalaya for 40+ years but I can honestly say that making Jambalaya with no meat has never been a thought. It is pointless and IS pretty much just a bowl of rice. If you want to be a vegan that's fine but I eat meat. Vegan Jambalaya is just a waste of time and holds zero interest for me especially at 6 bucks per bowl.

The quality of Aramark aside, when did the menu at a stadium become such a big thing? Is that why people go to the game? Shrimp and grits while sitting in the stands? Who thinks that's going to be good at a venue with 95,000 plus attendees.
Watch the game. Eat a burger or hot dog with a soft drink.
I don't go to game and ask, "may I see a menu". "Can you have the chef prepare some pot-stickers, preferably steamed and not fried."
I read an article recently about several chains reassessing their menu selection, and electing to simplify and improve the quality. Trying to be all things to all people just means variety with little quality or consistency.

Vegan Jambalaya
There's a major difference between vegan and vegetarian. I'll agree that a vegan jambalaya would be completely unnatural and lack authentic flavor.
A vegetarian jambalaya can have everything but the meat. Holy trinity, BUTTER (helps make up for the lack of sausage grease), and all the seasoning. It comes out a lot like a Spanish rice.
I'll always prefer a "real" jambalaya, but a vegetarian jambalaya is pretty damn good too.
