The nickname for that stadium is "The Bounce House" because it's a fricking dump that could collapse at any moment. It needs to be bulldoze

It's a commuter school and all those students just drove from their parents house

Where were all of them in previous home games?

UCF - Crowd + Stadium by tigertex1992
“LSU fans suck, other schools fans are better”

UCF’s stadium hold 45 thousand. If “only” that much showed up for an LSU game, y’all would lose your minds.

. And this is their only sellout this year despite having an undefeated season- they had less than half of capacity for most of this year- this game was against their arch rival who has only lost once and obviously a lot at stake- Tiger Stadium would be just as electric with a similar game.

ve said it over and over again that the Georgia game of 2003 is the last I saw Tiger Stadium like it was back in the 80’s and for the 97 Florida game.

07 UF. I had never seen that many people outside the stadium either.

Holy shite! My apologies to the previous poster. When I was there it seemed nice compared to the Tiger Stadium I grew up going to. I really couldn't tell. I mean, it bounces, but so did Doak Campbell. They enclosed it in brick, but it's still basically an erector set.

Lol ucf’s fanbase blows on a normal night. Like 70% of the stadium is full on a really good night. This was just a huge rivalry game. This would be like watching the LSU Alabama game and thinking that’s tiger stadium every Saturday

And? VCU is the largest state in Virginia and they don't even have a football program.

Tiger Stadium was a victim of the Tigers own success. The games became a place to be seen. Prices pushed out some of the "every man" types who were willing to stand a make noise from start to finish. He was replaced with those who make their appearance and leave at halftime.

Also, expectations had an impact on the stadium atmosphere. We're not "supposed" to play close games against the likes of Ole Miss or State or Arkansas. If we do, we're "struggling" and the crowd is pissed off instead of raucous. The crowd can still bring it but it's basically only at its best for Alabama when the crowd deems the opponent worthy of noise making.

When u don’t have consistent qb play u won’t be the elite teams. Scheme and talent only goes so far when other teams match up talent wise and always have a qb advantage

Stop making excuses for our shitty, entitled, leave early, fan base.
TS is a shell of its former self and only shows out for really big games.

saw on TV tonight at UCF? Unreal how far we have fallen as a fan ba

Talks about Death Valley’s mystique being gone because seeing a small arse team in HD and surround sound in 2017 seemed like it was more of an amazing atmosphere in his own living room.

Compared to what? Which games you attended? The games you watched on television this year?

0-8 SEC Arkansas 2013 Jennings to Dural was louder than anything UCF got up for tonight.

Were you actually there? Did you care? Or do you care more about other people’s perception of the team you love?

Do some research on it. The company that built it and renovated it did shitty work. That have steel beams that are actually twisted from poor design. I'm not saying this out of any bias or anything it is well known even by their fans. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

I wish people would do a little research before posting. The students nicknamed the stadium that because of it's poor design when they get rowdy they can literally make the stands bounce up and down.

I went to the earthquake game, Florida 97, Georgia 03, and Florida 07. Ill put last years Bama crowd up against any of them.
2012 (Chavis in Prevent-Yeldon) and 2014 (Kick out of bounds-Personal Foul) Bama were equal as well.

You missed the #1 all-time, huh? (USC 79)

Been there, Done that. Seen em all going Way Back There, Way Back There.

The current crowd of "Newbies" and "Corporates" and "Cheesers" (With Wine) and "Snowflakes" aren't even in the same "Dimensional Universe" as Tiger Stadium crowds of old.

It's not even as intense as a mere 5 years ago from start of game to finish and throughout the season.

In comparison, 70's/80's/90's/early 2000's were traditional LSU and the last 5 years or so have been Tulane crowds. (Except for the Bama game at night)
