Uber to Tiger Stadium

what a joke. how ya gonna uber out after the game?

Good plan but I’ve had many drivers that just don’t show up on game day even when I’ve done a reservation, have actually had better luck with Lyft

I've been doing this for a few years now, no regrets. Go out Friday night, drop off the truck with all the tailgate stuff, uber in on Saturday with the food and ice chest and then roll out at my leisure post game

Have them go down nicholson and drop me off at Walkons or ask them to drive as close to the stadium as fhey can on Nicholson.
Clemson and LaTech game they dropped me off at Lot 400. A&M they dropped me off at Walkons. Each time it was 3pm when I called the Lyft. They seem more available on game day

Just need ride to the game

Of all my years in TS, the most fun and least traffic years are when we would park and tailgate around the lakes, sometimes on Stanford, ride our bicycles to friends tailgates, then to stadium near Locket Hall where they had bike racks to lock up. We never sat in hardly any traffic because we’d haul arse back to truck.

The funniest time was Auburn around 2004?, 2 years after Tuberville lit the stogey on the Tiger Eye and we kicked their asses. My buddy was lit but didn’t have a flask and we didn’t have an extra. He poured some bourbon in a quart zip lock and “double bagged” it which he said wouldn’t allow it to bust. He put it in the front of his jeans and we lit out on bikes. He had a couple minor falls on the way but when we were rolling down the ramp by the Physical Plant, he busted his arse, his body was upside down on the hurricane fence. We thought he was hurt but he was fine and a former OT, so he sprang up and we got, locked the bikes and got in the ticket line.

On the way up the ramps walking with the masses, he looked at me wide eyed and alarmed. I said bro what’s wrong? He said that bag busted and my assholes on fire. We laughed our asses off and he took off walking faster than us and we didn’t see him till halftime.

Sadly he passed away about 10 years after that, ironically in a bicycle wreck. After his wake some friends went to dinner and I told that story. Another buddy said hey was that at the Auburn game in whatever year, and I said yep. He said man right before kickoff I ran to take a leak and walked in to the bathroom and saw our buddy backed up to the round hand wash stations. He had his arse under the water and was standing on the rail sending water down. He was also the funniest guy I ever have known, loved Tiger Football and I believe he made it to Glory Land; I’m looking forward to seeing him there and sharing some more laughs and maybe a Tiger game from ahigh.
