As per the rantards it should be Sabans recruits but (under)coached by Miles

So Miles coached him up to the #3 pick in the NFL? or was it just because Saban recruited him?

well lets see Miles coached a guy who was a high draft pick......

Saban coached a guy who wasn't a high draft pick

Now who is about to pass who on the depth chart? Seems that the coaching Gilberry received better prepared him to produce in the NFL

I thought Miles won the NC with Saban's players? Now, Miles is being blamed for winning the NC with Saban's players, but Saban's recruits (Miles' players)are not living up to their potential in the NFL, so Miles is to blame? I don't think Saban can get credit for the good and not accept the blame for the bad. Man, Miles can't even win this argument on this board. I know this is confusing, but if you can't tell, I am (and always will be) a Miles' fan.

Dorsey shouldn't count as a bust. Going from a penetrating DT to a read and react DE doesn't work too well.

You know that Miles won the NC with Saban's players. Admitting that doesn't make you a Les hater.

And surely y'all aren't trying to deny that Saban is better at developing defensive talent than Miles is.

Dorsey should be traded for Haynesworth

Same for TJ. He's much better suited in a 4-3 scheme like the one he played in forever before being drafted. In fact he played pretty well on the inside the times he was moved there as a Tiger.

But seriously, Kansas city sucks. The whole team, not just these two players.

Imagine yourself saying that in a face-to-face discussion with a national sports reporter who was very knowledgeable about college football.

Would you feel silly for trying to imply that what Saban did in turning around Bama is similar to what Miles has done at LSU?

B/c you would sound silly to anybody but your fellow travelers on this board.

How about Ricky Jean-Francois playing NT for the 49ers. Went from
DE in a 4-3 to
DT in a 4-3 to
DE in a 3-4 to
NT in a 3-4

Was far and away the most talented DL we had in the past 5-7 years.

Just had other issues...
