Think back to the summer, when we didn’t even have a QB penned in.

Think back to when we were the underdogs vs Miami.

Think back to when many of you were predicting 4 losses or more.

We have the second toughest SOS in the country. We’ve survived with two losses. The defense is the best in the country and the offense is making strides with less talent than recent years.

We’re bringing in a solid recruiting class. The future is still bright. Yesterday does not define our season. We aren’t afraid to play Georgia during the regular season. We aren’t afraid to schedule Texas, twice. I’m looking forward to watching them grow.

You’re right.

Burrow really did salvage this season

yeah all the 5+ loss predictions were either (1) idiots or (2) being made pre-Burrow

lazy media not keeping up doesn't prove our expectations were that low with Burrow (and Fulton)

Two losses SO FAR.

They are doing a lot better than most expected, but A&M and the bowl games aren't a gimme.

The season isn’t over.

The offense is like 100th nationally, so no they aren’t making strides.

Miami and Auburn aren’t nearly who we thought they were.
The UGA win was huge, State game was a good win in my mind.

A&M is going to be tougher than some think.

We got embarrassed last night and scored less points against them than ULL and Arkansas did.
I’m not really into pumping up unfinished season evaluations.

I would much rather be 7-2 and see a competitive offense on the field. It would be reassuring to see some progress. What I saw last night was being owned by Alabama for the foreseeable future. That’s depressing.

Bama would’ve shut out more teams if they kept their starters in for four quarters.

It’s a misleading stat. We are the only team to stay in the game for more than three quarters.

miami is 5-7 over their last 13 games.
including losses to:
Unranked Virginia
Unranked Boston College
Unranked Duke

beating them is not exactly something to pound your chest about.

Ole Miss, Arkansas, Missouri, A&M

all scored in the first quarter.

Tennessee scores early 2nd quarter.

in fact, the only other team to NOT score until the 4th quarter so far is USL.

Amen brother. I second all you said and am glad with where we are considering the downward trend we were heading in.
