Hey all,
I'm going to my fjrst game in tolietown and have been told they don't care much for oppossing fanbases. I plan on doing a lot of cheering and yelling and wanted to get some feedback on what to expect.

I'll be high up in the south end zone.

Geaux Tigers!

I've ben a few times. Had great experiences every time. I'm not a jackass. So, if you cheer for your team and not just a flaming a-hole, they will treat you well.

Enjoy

99% of the time you won't have any issues if you aren't an a-hole. People will talk shite but thats every road trip, don't let it get to you

I’ve always found them to be pretty welcoming for the most part, nothing at all like Florida

I went a few years back, people were generally very nice...didn't like the stadium or the endless:

"I CAN'T HEAR EWE!!!!" coming over the video screen incessantly...

I was there the last time LSU beat them. Great college atmosphere. Like every other fan base, some jerks, but for the most part people were friendly. Don’t expect to get invited to eat at any Bama tailgate, or have drinks. They weren’t like that at all. But we were not acting obnoxious and mostly people were nice or neutral.

But they were better than UF fans and a thousand tiimes better than Arky fans. Arky fans were out the box obnoxious, even to children.

Go walk to a giant LSU tailgate and you'll be fine. They're really not that bad pregame.

They are down the list of assholedness, in general. Way below Florida and Georgia.

But, they are all Harvey Updikes waiting to lose their collective shite, so try not to find the Inflection point.

Lived near there for several years. Been to a lot of games (LSU and others) in T-Town. They have their sidewalk fans but everyone does. Like others said, don’t be a jackass and you’ll have a good time. The bars on University (Gallettes, etc.) are fun. Never had an issue there, unlike that shithole which is Gainesville. Will never ever go back there.

Mostly just ignore you before and during the game.
They did have a few mouth-breathers constantly looking for a fight after we beat them in 2011.

They ended up fighting with each other when we weren't interested in an altercation.

I went in 2003. They were great but they were losing in their first year with Shula so very humble.

Best part about 2011, was talk radio on drive back to hotel. Most fans calling for Saban to be fired, because Les clearly has his number.

Tuscaloosa would be such a pleasant little town if not for the stench of elephant dung.

Same for me. The stadium has a slick, corporate feel to it. I didn't care for it. And now with these stupid lights...

Just keep in mind you're not in Tiger Stadium.

I've been and had the time of my life... met lots of nice bama fans both before and after the game. For the most part, the fans that attend games in T-town are nothing like the trailer dwelling gumps that they are famous for
