RPI likely drops win or lose, but we need to win. And we will

This seems unconventional maybe, but I'd go with Ricken again to start.

Ricken is useless this year. He’ll be good. He’s just not someone I want on the mound unless we’re up by 30.

I'd like Ricken for the start. The kid has great upside potential. A little confidence builder tonight would be fantastic.

I disagree. He's flashed enough at times to prove there is something there. And if we want to make a run in the SECT tournament (and we really want to make a run in the SECT), we're going to need every available arm. If he can get one time through the order tonight (and maybe a couple extra batters) successfully, it could springboard him to helping in the tournament.

We should have won those as well. Tulane still sucks

Tonight’s game pretty much has no impact on the outcome of our season at this point. Just enjoy the game!

Many of us don't refer to them as "Tuck Fulane" for nothing. (You wouldn't understand unless you were around during the 70's/80's LSU-TF rivalry)

Tulane is awful this season. Pitching is terrible and we have no power at the plate. I'll be in attendance to see the Box and hopefully a somewhat competitive game. But, LSU wins 11-3

The first RPI impact game of the day today is Milawukee vs Valparaiso. We need Milwaukee to win this one. Statcast

RPI goes up 6 points with a win and goes down 50 points with a loss. It only marginally helps us but a loss would be another killer Q4 loss

Where do you get these calculations? And can you see the impact of our opponents games on our RPI?

ETA: Just found the impact games tab on WarrenNolan

Yes i got it from Warren Nolan. Not sure where to find how much separates each team in RPI. I see the rankings but curious if 6 points moves us up 1 spot or 3, and i haven’t been able to find a site that shows that

I think we “must win” 7 more games. At least.
