Christian Lacouture’s parents moved from Nebraska or Maine or some shite to Baton Rouge when he played here, did we buy his parents a house?

I'm more amazed at the number of people that still don't get it about bama and recruit families.
It's been a staple of tide football since the early 60s.

All programs bend the rules. Heck I know for a fact the sainted Dean Smith at NC had some shady things for players done under his watch. Whether he had direct knowledge I dont know but it happened. If you think the level of rule bending at LSU is anywhere near the level of outright cheating done at Bama before during and after Saban is anywhere close I got some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

The Bama obsession goes on.

This.
I understand Tua's family made bank by selling their house in Hawaii.
My mom had a house in the same town Tua lived in. When she passed in '04, I was seriously tempted to keep the house as she bought near the bottom of the market in the 90s. The real estate market crashed hard on Oahu in the early 90s in part because the Japanese economy tanked and tourism and investment from Japan sank with it. I think the house would easily be worth twice what I unloaded it for and probably triple what my mom paid for it. Real estate is crazy expensive over there. Like San Francisco.

They could sell their Hawaii house and buy a house for each person they moved to Alabama and still have enough to "buy" a few dodge chargers.

I'll be the first to admit I don't know anything about his family, but obviously, they have some very talented kids. Not just varsity high school, or average college good but NFL talent.
So, I don't know about you guys, but if my kids were as talented as they are in any sport or field that would greatly benefit them long term by moving to a better location AND had the job ability to facilitate the move, I would have done anything for my kids.
As far as means, if you've never been to Hawaii, I'm not sure where they are from in HI, but the cost of living is substantially higher and if they have had property for a long time it would have been a snap.

That would have been nice of someone.

They could have sold there home and bought one is Alabama and still had $500k in cash left over to live in in Alabama
Well there is no real property assessed to the Tagovailoa's in the county in which they live so that probably didn't happen. It's public record. They could own property under a different name or they could be renting.

Serious question: does the Fehoko family now live in BR?
Posted on 11/8/18 at 9:43 pm to BrerTiger
Took some digging but I found Tua's house in Ewa Beach by searching his mom's name.
Per Zillow, they bought the house in 2005 for $385k and sold it in March 2017 for $520k. Unless they used their house as an ATM, they should have done aight.

Much cheaper to live in Alabama than Hawaii.
