LSU just barely beat the team with the worst defense in the SEC and you think with Van Buren at QB we would be undefeated.

All those games were winnable. I won't say "would have", but "could have"? Absolutely. Kelly absolutely gave up on the season when he sent Nuss back out for the second half against Ole Miss.

False. No QB is setup for success behind this historically awful OL. MVB didn't even play great against Arkansas. He should've ended up with several INTs. He made plays when he needed to.

Hindsight is what it is but man just a change in QB's at any point earlier in the season could have been a MAJOR improvement in LSU's record.

People like you should be banned from posting. No hate on MVB but he threw 3 passes right into defenders hands that were simply dropped. He struggles to get the offense to the line without penalties. He performed arguably worse than Nuss against one of the worst defenses in our conference. People have been shitting on Nuss, but this teams issues are so much deeper than the QB.

I think LSU beats Ole Miss with MVB, still loses bama, Vandy, and am…but that’s my opinion…which is usually pretty accurate

If MVB, a fully healthy Weeks and a full healthy line, then yes I think we beat Vandy. Not sure about the other two.

They scored 23 against the worst defense in the conference. They gave up 24+ points in every loss with Nuss at QB for the entire game. Not sure how you think it would have made a difference.

We could be undefeated with a good offensive line.
And if the king had different anatomy he would be the queen.

Better if Nuss healed as was his old self by this point. Otherwise, hard to say

I hate hypotheticals, but G Nuss wasted this season and defense. With MBN you win at least 1, maybe 2, but no question you don’t lose all 3.

So lets flip the script on this....no way MVB beats Clemson and puts up stats that Nuss did this year...28 of 38 for 232 yards and 1 TD with a QB rating of 102....again MVB beat a 2-8 team. No way MVB beats Nuss stats against Vanderbuilt...19 of 28 for 225 and 2 TDs with a QB rating of 124.....no way MVB beats Nuss stats against Baylor...24 of 34 for 313 yards and 3 TDS with a QB rating of 126. Lets see what you think is a great QB in MVB next year....dont be suprised if he isnt.....
