If anything his OBP would drop with more ABs.

I'm sure it's going to be what our SEC roster has been for most of the season. I'm pretty sure Reid has been on it.

Maybe Kiel doesn't make the cut, but he has a lot more class than you who posted derogatory information about him. Please don't use the term 'we' if you are going to denigrate a fine young man like Mr. Kiel. You are not part of this team. You did not make the sacrifice that you cowardly would ever know.

Hey Mrs. Kiel, does Hunter need glasses? He can't seem to find the strikezone.

He has. My only argument for Kiel is that you need all the pitching you have to eat up innings in case you play 4 or 5 games in that short stretch.

I think i'd take Frederick over Kiel in that scenario.

Both aren't ready for this stage, but one throws the ball over the plate, the other doesn't.

I just don't understand some people's want or need to denigrate our own players and find it funny.

Just ugh.

Lame trying to be funny.
Too many online comedy warriors.

Stay classy at least with our own team.

And Frederick is one of the rare lefties on the roster.

I agree.

If it was down to Fredirick vs Keil for the last spot I would take Frederick also because of being left handed

Can you change the roster between the SECT and the Regionals? Because then I would take Frederick (over Kiel) for the SECT, and pick Reid back up for the Regionals.

Admittedly, this is without figuring out the maximum possible games for each. I'm just assuming it's possible to play more in the SECT.

Amazingly, Frederick's BB/9 (16.875) is worse than Kiel's (11.368).

Damn... that takes skill... Still take Frederick because of the lefty thing. If either of them step on the mound though in a regional, I may just grab a bottle of drain-o and end it all.

Meh. What's a matchup really worth when we're talking about those two? Give me the hard thrower that can K some free swingers.

That is a slim look into stats. His batting average AND slugging percentage are .150!

He's had 20 at bats the entire season. Trying to draw any conclusion from his stats is ignorant. He hasn't had nearly enough at bats.

I'd be more hesitant to throw Frederick against a run of lefties at this point, actually. If the guy is struggling with confidence and finding the zone, a bunch of guys in his arm side batters box might now be the best medicine.

ETA: I still like his stuff though. I may be the only person left on this board that thinks he can be a good reliever for us in the future.

Drawing conclusions from the stats alone is ignorant... drawing them from watching his ABs and those results is not. He hasn't been competitive at all. And that's been vs some pretty mediocre pitching.

Can Norman just throw lefty? Add him to the roster.

Is Kade Scivicque still on the roster? He can pitch.

You missed with this one. Forshag is still in the dugout.
