With the situation we have right now on defense and the emergence of Kaleb Jackson at rb, I don't think it's the worst idea to give him some defensive reps in practice and see how he does against the 1's and 2's. I haven't heard if we're redshirting him or not, but do we plan to or could this be an option? It's not like we can afford to not do all we can to stop the bleeding.

People say Sage is too short at 5'11" and you want a 5'7" guy playing DB?

Wouldn't be a bad idea. I'd like to see Welch at FS and Sam at CB for a series.

Hey laugh all you want. People are laughing at our defense. You obviously haven't seen the dude play defense in person. He's a playmaker. I said try him in practice and y'all are acting like it's the worst idea ever. He has instinct you can't teach.

I know Weeks is our second best LB, but if they are not going to let him start, let him play Safety while not at LB. he would probably be our best Safety and they could move a Safety to CB for depth. Weeks needs to be on the field for every snap.

Absolutely agree. In my opinion he would've played better than Speights did against OM fresh coming off an injury.

Idk about that. I've seen him jump a route and leave everyone in the dust on the way to the house like they were sitting still.

Good point. Speaking of Keon Coleman, I know someone related to him that told me our staff told him he'd never start at rb for LSU. No idea of that's true but if so we need some better eyeballs evaluating talent.

DB yes, but I bet he faster than any safety we have playing.
He was a hard hitter and a headhunter on defense in HS but I don't think you could throw a running back out there and they'd be any better than what we have. I don't think our problem is athletes I think it's coaching.

I saw Sage play in person in HS and he was a heck of a playmaker. That doesn't always translate into the next level very well.
