Ha, no I was definitely kidding. I saw him play last year. I'm not knocking the kid but he just isn't the athlete that Jacoby is...most human beings aren't. I do think they will need a bigger/better alternative though. Especially if Trev's nephew leaves.

This may reveal my age but I have no idea who this is. What did he play and did he play at the next level(s)?

He's a 94 graduate. Played baseball and basketball. Football his SR year.

I thought Trev wasnt certified? I guess he got his teaching certification to get a public school job
Vince did a great job with what he had to work with. He coached the defense, his brother coached the offense, they both coached special teams and Vince had some CECP bar-b-que buddies to hand out water at practice. That was his "staff"
Vince is supposed to get the Westgate job pending Iberia Parish School Board approval
If NHS gives trev a real staff to work with, there is no shortage of athletes at NHS. HOWEVUH, the consensus is that NHS will be open one or two more years, the school will be shut down and everything will be moved to the david thibodeaux tech campus and that school will then be 5A. Which puts trev right into the heart of the middle school recruiting wars with Acadiana/Lafayette/Carencro for kids.
Should be interesting
Roch will stay at VC until his dad retires, then he will go to TCHS. Sonny will stick around TCHS long enough to allow Roch to get some HC experience under his belt to make sure TCHS hires him.

Competition will be fierc, but with Trev being able to sell connections to two of the top football programs in the country, only Acadiana would consistently beat him out for kids.

He wasn't when VC hired him ... and anyone NOT certified and hired by VC must begin work toward certification. Think they're given 2 years and TF had been there for 1 1/2 years so that = 3 college semesters that he could have done what he needed to I guess.

The Thibodeaux tech is the np moss campus
Trev will have success but indest and davidson will make it hard on him with do many problems at nhs and so much uncertainty

Indest will have to install the Air Cooper Collins offense at Carencro to take advantage of the poor secondaries in that area.

I agree with you on this...don't want to think about another good hire leaving already. Will be a while though so hopefully we have more success whiles he here so we can intice another good coach when he's gone.
