That part about him being the first to graduate is pretty moving stuff. He's a good dude

He deserves that #18

It's absolutely outstanding that these kids passed up guaranteed winning lottery tickets to come back to LSU to go after a championship. We, as normal fans, understand that it's awesome and all but the gravity of that decision is unreal to me.

Some turd-ranters question why he has the 18. That post answers any question about his priorities and why is 18.

Proud to have a quality young man representing his family and our university so well. I hope that he is rewarded with a healthy, and successful season, both personally and as a team.

If prayer support is what you want, prayer support is what you'll get. ??

I do understand why they leave though if they are going to be drafted in the top 2 rounds. Everyone is making money off these kids except for the kids. I also understand the reason White is coming back and applaud him for it.

I'm very happy to have him, Beck and the other Tigers that are coming back, but LSU is taking care of these young men with some pretty big insurance policies against injuries.

this is EXACTLY what wearing 18 is all about.

He deserves that #18

Absolutely. The best part, imo, is him talking about being the 1st grandchild to get his college degree. That's so special to that family and the fact that he's staying to fulfill a dream of theirs speaks volumes of this kids personality and the way he was raised! So glad to have Tre at LSU for one more year! He's made Shreveport extremely proud!

“After careful consideration and gathering as much information as possible about the draft process, I feel that it’s in my best interest to return to LSU for my senior season. I want to thank my family, Coach Miles and the LSU staff for their support during this process. Decisions like this are never easy to make. Getting a college degree and becoming the first member of my family to graduate from a school like LSU has always been important to me. Playing in Tiger Stadium in front of our great fans is something that I just wasn’t ready to say good bye to. I’m going to leave LSU with a degree and do everything that I can to help this team compete for a national title.
