Dandydon reported this morning that he is hearing Tre' Bradford is the fastest offensive player on the team. Can that be true?

Found this quote from his HS coach:

“ He’s a very versatile player. He’s in the 4.3 range for the 40. He’s a track kid, is a 100m guy, 4x100, 4x200, and has been on varsity since he was a freshman. Runs the 100m in 10.5. There’s a lot he can do,” Gilbert said. “He can catch the ball and he runs really strong and has breakaway speed. He is so fast on long touchdowns it looks like he is jogging cause he’s so far ahead of everybody.”

I’d be surprised if he’s ahead of Palmer and Boutte, but anything is possible.

He’s a RB. Or are you talking about kick returns?

Can it be true? Yes

Is it? Very well could be. He’s lightning fast but there’s a lot of fast guys on the team

I'm personally pulling for Emery to get his head out of his arse and become THE guy, but it's good to hear we have legit speed back there.

I mean maybe... I was always under the impression that Kary Vincent was fastest on the team.
quote:

represented LSU in the 100 meters at the NCAA East Preliminaries … claimed gold in the 100 meters at the LSU Invitational with a wind-aided time of 10.07
quote:

Lead leg on the fourth-fastest 4x100 meter relay in school history that ran a 38.37

ETA: Didn't see "Offensive player". My bad.

Pretty sure he was referring to Bradford being a head, as in speed, of Palmer and Boutte who are widely regarded as two of the fastest players on the team.

Trey Palmer is pretty fast

10.42 100m
21.11 200m (state record for his class)

I didn’t realize Bradford was such a burner

Heard Adams is a burner also.

On defense I’d say sting and Vincent are the fastest.

Boutte had the nations 3rd fastest 200m last year in high school as well 20.87

Like the post above stated Vincent probably is the fastest on the team. To put it into perspective his 10.07 100m may make him the fastest bonafide man in CFB. To my knowledge Trindon Holiday still holds the fastest 100m time ever for a CFB player at 10.00 and there are only a few others in between Holliday’s 10.00 and Vincent’s 10.07

Tape is impressive. He doesn't get caught from behind and makes good one cuts then gets up field in a hurry.

Good grief. How frustrating for defenders. He out runs the angles.
