Guy won’t play in the league, but he is up there on my all time favorite LSU players list.

Just one of those guys that brings it & takes the whole team up with him.

And yall were saying he was terrible at the start of the year.

Glad he’s getting his respect

Should try out for the saints. Possibly a fullback or linebacker. May also make a good assistant coach.

Y’all

You must have me confused with someone else. I was calling for Hannibal to start over Cook in January & been stanning McMahon all year.

Listen, the dude changed his game. I was critical AF. He was taking 8-10 shots a game but they’re all out of control floaters and layups. The last 2-3 weeks, that’s who and what he is and it makes us better. What he did tonight was elite. His energy is something they simply cannot be taught

He’s been getting better all year, just like Reed, Ward, and Williams. He has always played like this though, just finally found his role & coached him up to play it. The team has an identity on both sides of the ball with him out there.

All signs of good coaching.

7 pts, 8 rebounds, 7 assist and 0 turnovers. Great stat line and incredible effort every night.

Beautiful stat line. Tough guard, leading well.

He’s underrated at everything he does. He is a fantastic passer when he is in control, which he seems to increasingly be the more he plays.

Uncanny how well he boards. He’s unstoppable on the take & creates a lot with his strong passing / kicking out after penetrating.

He doesn’t shoot jumpers but he does force the defense to make decisions because he absolutely can finish at the glass — not sure where the narrative game from that he can’t score. He can, just not gonna do it from the elbow & he doesn’t need to.

Think about how good Hannibal would be if he could shoot...serious NBA prospect.

He definitely would be. Who was the last non-scoring guard we had who was as important as he is to the team?

Guy is probably our best athlete on the roster. Wild to be that intense for nearly 40m. Played with cramps & I barely noticed.

He has improved a shite ton from last year, alot of experienced guards do. Thats why we’ll need that on next years roster too. Hannibal has played well all year

Hannibal is the type of player that I thought Mwani Wilkinson would be. Just not the same guy.

Since that’s the case, shouldn’t he have 4 years of eligibility to start his LSU football career?!??

I wish. But I think the clock starts when you play in your 1st game in any sport.

Still, if he showed up at LSU's pro day, caught a few passes, then did all the tests, I think someone would take a chance on drafting him late. You know his 40, vertical, broad jump, etc have to be off the charts.

He was terrible at the beginning of the year. I don't mind eating crow on him. He was a TO machine. Hhe has DEVELOPED into a solid PG. Still wish he would take some of those 15-20 footers they give him but to only have 3 TO in second half as a team says a lot. His defense and rebounding are solid and his effort and hustle are off the charts. Kudos to Mcmahon for helping to develop him into the player he is today. Maybe this will light a fire under Cook when he comes back. But Hannibal and Wright are the heart of this team and Ward and Reed are developing into future leaders. Stay the course and build the program.

I was also critical, but his play of late has been extraordinary. I give CMM and his staff credit, because I bet they instructed him on how he could best help the team, and I give Hannibal huge credit for working on his game. He is definitely running the team better than Cook. He is our most physical player, so needless to say he is much more physical than Cook. He should remain at the point with Cook primarily as shooting guards. Let Williams and Cook spell Hannibal at the point, rather than the other way around.
