will he even get a UDFA deal? Not knocking him at all but what would be his “role” in NFL?

I feel like he could be a good LB

So underutilized this season. One of my big complaints was not lining up in the I formation with three tight ends in a true goal line formation more this season. Could have beaten Mizzou imo had we tried it.

More teams use Fullbacks in the NFL than in college. And we definitely don’t.

He’s shown he can catch the ball and block. I thinknhell Get a job somewhere.

Might as well. New Offense does not fit his skill set

Will def make a roster via special teams. He has nothing to gain from coming back.

I do agree that we could’ve used him more to help get the running game going but we hardly had 3 TEs on the roster this season. I hope whoever we hire as the new OC actually uses some formations under center. Only helps with the run game and play action moving forward.

There's no OC we should hire that's going to beef up his role in the offense.

Disagree. We’ve swung too far in the other direction from the CLM era - need to find some balance and reimplement some power running to complement the passing game.

He won’t get drafted but I could definitely see him carving out a nice career as a special teams guy. Good blocker with decent hands too.

Fullback and special teams. He’s a mauler on special teams, which will work to his benefit. He’s also a pretty damned good lead blocker when he’s actually utilized.

I have no desire to go back to the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense, but it’s still a shame that Tory Carter didn’t get to showcase his potential. Best of luck to a great Tiger!

He got released from the team. Wasn’t even there for senior day during the Ole Miss game. He was suspended earlier in the season too

Every high school player things they'll be a college star. Every college player think they'll make it in the NFL.

The numbers say neither is true.

You are absolutely correct. I believe there are near 130 Div1 football programs. Then you have the smaller schools as well. All of these guys vying for a roster spot among 32 teams. Unless you are a superstar then the odds are against you.
