Another shot eh? I wonder what they'll say in the absurd situation that we win out? What will they have to hide behind, or nuance, when it is all said and done?

Ya know its funny that sports analysts are never wrong.

And WHY is OU and LSU rated so hight in the computers?????

BECAUSE WE PLAYED AND BEAT RANKED TEAMS!

Who has Boise State beaten? A 3-3 team and BARELY Vtech team that was beaten worse on VTECHs homefield the next week by our 4th president..

Uhh. So if you play the toughest schedule and win every game you....are overrated if you come in at #1 or #2?

Don't see whats wrong with what they said, its mostly true. LSU hasn't passed the eye test to this point. Yes other teams have had close calls. Have any of those other top teams needs last minute drives to win games like LSU did against a terrible Tennessee team and average Fla team?

It won't matter if LSU keeps winning. Media outlets like ESPN are obsessed with offense. That is why they are gushing about Auburn despite that team giving up 43 points at home to Arkansas' backup QB.

Hopefully, the players eat up this disrespect. LSU is going to beat Auburn in 5 days.

Auburn did against Kentucky and Clemson. But you never hear this type of criticism when it comes to Auburn.

ETA: Against MSU as well.

After writing this...

Are you being sarcastic??

Have you not watched AU games? UK and MSU to be exact?

Did you miss the Boise State come from behind game?

How did OU do against Cincy and Air Force? Sure was a scare against Utah St too.

TCU's only win of note is against a 3-3 team.

I totally agree with this. We will find out this week along with the rest of the country (2:30 game), what kind of team we have. This is the game of the week IMHO.

And why did they take out MOV? Because the media was crying about it! They thought that it would lead to it being a beauty contest. Now they complain that it isnt a fricking beauty contest!

Auburn needed come from behind wins in the last minutes of those games? I seem to remember Auburn having that lead with a couple drives left over MSU

points are pretty.
defense isn't.

auburn and oregon look awesome to the pundits.
lsu looks gross.

defense wins titles and i would say lsu has a much better chance of winning a title than auburn.

This... unless your team is Iowa. Then you can have a solid defense and shitty offense and get respect.

Computers can't be trusted....

--to eliminate the prejudice inherent in so-called "journalists" opinions

--to include results that will sell TV and internet commercials

--to change the rules when you think they need changing in mid-season

--to behave like spoiled children

--not to make so-called "journalists" look like fools

I was referring to MSU blocking a FG and getting close to FG range to tie the game and MSU players dropping some balls that would have given them an easy FG to tie.

AU kicked a FG to win the game with time expiring versus UK.

Let other teams amass stye points. We have actual accomplihsments. I love this line

quote:

The Tigers are undefeated and have played one of the country's tougher schedules, but they've looked far from perfect in doing it.
Well, no crap. LSU looked far from perfect because it was playing the tougher games. It's hard to look perfect against good teams.

I love the disrespect. First, it was that LSU is trending down. Then it was that we didn't outgain our opponents. now, it's that we're lucky. Sounds like the luck argument is the last refuge of the scoundrel. It's that they misjudged LSU this season, and people hate being wrong.

God, I really want to beat Auburn badly.

Isn't that expected when you play the toughest schedule? You play good teams so you may struggle some.
