What was the name of a big old lineman we had probably in the 60s or late 50s that intercepted a pass and I don't think he made it to the end zone. I believe he was over 300 pounds. Funny as could be watching him run with the ball, Can't think of his name. Maybe someone out there would know.

I always like Stovall because I went to high school with him. He was a couple grades behind me. Wasn't much success as a coach.

I had a couple of classes with Stovall - great football player and a fine person. Not so great as a coach but unhesitantly stepped into the breach when Bo Rein was killed.

Rudy Niswanger should be on someone's list.

Needs more Nacho Albergamo. Possibly LSU’s best center until Lloyd Cushenberry.

Michael Clayton was the complete football player. Loved the way he played the game.

Clayton was 21st century though.

Wow there were so many great players. You've got to love DT Leonard Marshall, LB Eric Hill. Too many great ones to chose just one.

Ditto! He was sitting in the back of my Psych 101 crs in the fall of 87. Huge guy who always had a smile on his face. Played hard every game, and was our thumper.
