Michael Brooks. Terrible injury ruined his chance to have the same success in the NFL as he did as a Tiger.

There was once a knock on Steve Van Buren that the competition level wasn't too tough when he was a Tiger because so many athletes were in the armed forces when he was a Tiger but he proved the skeptics wrong by having a stellar career in the NFL. What a Tiger!

I was at the first game of the Hilliard/James gang era. They both went for over 100 yards in a demolition of poor Oregon State.

"For us old guys"...

The average age on this board is in the 40s. This page is old, and we are losers.

Tommy Casanova.

He was the cousin of a good friend of mine. He used to play football games with us in Kenner. I was a pre tean when he played for LSU.

I only got what I saw in late 90s

Tyler
Faulk
Mealey
Cecil
Kennison
Abram Booty (WR)
Booger
Walker
Banks
Foster
Roman

Those are the guys that I can barely remember but had a big effect on my fandom. I was about 8-12 in those years. Great memories

I remember the booty chants when he caught the ball over the middle and seeing Foster and faulk light it up pretty vividly
