K - Average by LSU standards

Really? Currently 8th all-time in FG percentage. If 2025 is like 2024 he will move up to 6th passing Colby Delahoussaye and Drew Alleman. 6th in career field goals made and 2024 was the #3 season in FGs made at LSU.

All of this with a long snapper and holder who sometimes forgot what their job was.

Like mentioned earlier talent level compared to other teams should be good and should be able to compete with just about anyone. The days of an elite totally stacked dominant team are basically over with the portal and NIL. Biggest question though is do you have good team chemistry, do they put in the work and take care of business each and every day to get better? Problem with NIL is with the amount of money some of these kids are getting then we will see some relax and stop working and caring as much because they feel they have already made it. No way to predict ahead which kids will be affected in this manner but it will affect some of these teams. Just have to bring in the talent and hope you know them well enough to know they are high character guys that will continue to work and willing to play together instead of trying to get their stats while potentially hanging teammates out to dry on certain plays thinking more stats more money. Have to bring in talent that are high character team fist guys which is a tough thing to manage in todays environment

In lsu history? It has to be near the top. I’m talking top to bottom two deeps.

Not to be a downer, but we still have a transfer window 5 days past our bowl game so we may have a few more hit the portal. We are likely not done either so we'll see how this finishes out, but Kelly and Co have done about as good as could have been hoped in the portal so far.

Idk about that. LSU has had ALOT of talented teams...including 2019 that is widely considered the best college team ever assembled. We will see.

Yes 2019 offensively might have been best ever but the Defense was
nowhere near LSUs best.2011 and 2003 ,1969 were much better. I`m
waiting for a team great at both,is 2025 it, we will see.

You think it’s near the top? I would say 23 was about the least athletic team I’ve seen since my freshman year in 05. No where near the talent levels of the miles and early O days IMO. 24 could be better but we lose some and gained some in the portal so I’m hopefull but not too optimistic.

Well, yeah, to an extent...but still, you cant just throw out our 2019 offense from the equation and disregard it, lol. The defense at the end of the year was playing very well. Our defense had quite a few studs too and alot of nfl talent.

Way too early for this shite. Talent has to be developed and this coaching staff still has a lot to prove.

He gets a lot of help with our system. BK trusts the offense on 4th and medium anywhere near the 35ish yard line so Ramos hasn't had to attempt many 50+ yarders. I mean he's 1-3 for his career from 50+

Again, I'm basing this off the last 20 years, which have included some great kickers. He also had the misfortune of following the two best kickers in recent (maybe overall) school history in Tracy and York. He will also get the benefit of being a 4 year guy kicking for some incredible offenses.

He's a decent college kicker, but he's only 12-19 on kicks of 40+. He's not bad, and I'm certainly not worried about him from inside 40. I just don't feel nearly the same confidence as York and Tracy.

Somewhere in the 7th and 10th range. You are comparing to recent poor rosters.
