I think Etling and Nuss were close. NFL agrees as both were 7th round picks. Behind a competent pass blocking line like in 2024, I think I'd give a slight edge to Nuss. Behind an abysmal OL like in 2025 (LSU ranked 99th in sacks allowed), I'd give an edge to Etling. Still, probably splitting hairs. Very comparable players, IMO.

Winning games and leading a team are about a lot more than stats. Give me Flynn over Nuss any day of the week.

No real arguments on this, but Rohan was a great QB, and I don't believe younger fans realize what a role Rohan played in helping to elevate LSU as a contender in Saban's early years as coach.

I would as well. Just don't think Flynn should be as high as #4. Was just pointing out his INT ratio compared to a contemporary who could be turnover prone.

honestly i would just leave this as a top 5 list. drop Mettenburger and Nuss completely. Lot of hype / talk about both, neither did anything of significance or got us anywhere. Then have Mauck, Flynn, and Rohan tied at 5th. All 3 great leaders, trustworthy QBs that won a title with us or with a little more help could have won a title for us (Rohan)
