1. No frickin strobe light show
2. We’ve changed our philosophy on offense-why not change the time setting
3. Several less hours for Tua to heal
4. Joe’s full moon and the LED lights at the same time at night would overload the TV cameras
5. More time post game for every other later game and update show to talk about how we put it to the Gumps

I’m pumped. The game time change was the last piece of the puzzle LSU needed to finally beat Alabama.

It will be dark in the 4th quarter so they will do the LED lights just won’t be the whole game though. I pray the game being back to 2:30 brings normalcy to the Bama game and we take care of business!

Our last 2 games before bye will be at 230 while bamas last 2 will be at night

one could make the argument though that joe seems to play better at night.

I like all day football atmospheres. Day kicks suck.

It's no Death Valley but I'm glad we won't be playing in Bryant-Denny Stadium at night. Pawl was right though, CBS really missed out on making this primetime game. Not sure what they were thinking giving that to UGA v ND.

Tua had a "tight-rope procedure" on his ankle. Typically, per medical websites, this requires 6-12 weeks before weight can be put on the ankle. However, being young, athletic, etc. this 6-12 week is probably greatly reduced. But 3 weeks? I don't see him playing. If he does, his mobility will be greatly reduced.

haha that will have absolutely not impact whatsoever. If he's not ready after 3 weeks, 3hrs isn't going to matter.

Not in Tiger Stadium so don’t need night or no rain.
But the Auburn time pisses me off.

I'm glad the Auburn game is the same kickoff as the Bama game. Our guys will have lots of familiarity with the 2:30 timeslot, so one less mental thing to deal with. Also less time for nerves to build.

Surely you understand that the statement was an attempt to inject some fun. You do understand, don’t you? Maybe not.
