They are going to obviously talk about the one that still has a chance to win a title. Doesn’t mean anything in the vote.

I thought MHJ was going to blow the doors off the vote for Biletnikoff with all of his media hype. He only won by a single vote over Malik.

The voting was finalized 5 days ago. Nothing you have seen or read this week matters.

8 of last 10 Maxwell winners have won the Heisman. I’m worried as hell.

and I believe 8 of the last 10 Walter Camp winners have won the Heisman as well. I wouldn’t look too much into that.

Go look at the previous Walter Camp winners and AP player of the year winners then you may feel better.

Because he beat out JD for one award last night? Penix is a Heisman finalist QB for the undefeated #2 team in the country. It amazes me how LSU fans are surprised he is getting attention from the media. Quit being so paranoid and sensitive.

Look, I think JD is the most deserving of the award. I really hope he wins. But if he doesn't it doesn't detract one bit from the other awards he has won and his fantastic season. I think the rant will be bothered a lot more than JD.

It’s the West coast traitors to Nix. They’ve jumped the Nix Ship, and are pushing Penix now —- it’s the only thing they can do.

Less than 24 hours before the 2018 Heisman Trophy ceremony, Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray is favored to take home the award. Per Scott Hastings of OddsShark.com, Murray is listed as a -190 favorite (bet $190 to win $100) over Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa (+150) and Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins (+6000).

This may be true.

This is probably not. The other awards are great, and deserved, but college football has one single award that stands above them all. I'm sure this one has more meaning, and he would be disappointed to not win it. It would also be a crock of shite for him not to win it, so there is also that.

If Penix wins tonight they should just go ahead and change the definition of the meaning of the HEIMAN/BEST PLAYER in college football for that year. The other awards like Player of the year and Best qb have already awarded the awards to Jayden Daniels. The statistics this year for Jayden are off the chains and he has done things that other Heisman winners before him can only dream of. Penix is a great qb on a undefeated team BUT is not the Best player in college football this year.
