Right now, I'll level with you. Godwin does not/doesn't have the skins on the wall to say so. It's all just pure future prediction how he's taken ECU to the Supers, but can't break through. Taking a gamble on him being able to do better a place with more resources/SEC team.

Fair enough.
Basically, the argument is that Godwin hasn't been long in the tooth like Bianco has been at Ole Miss so there's more hope of an upside if he comes to LSU whereas many are thinking Bianco is unlikely to magically start going to Omaha on the reg when he hasn't been able to do so with similar resources (arguable, but whatever) at Ole Miss.
Personally, I think Bianco and Godwin are the "safe" hires but Woody is still pushing hard for a home run hire. Seeing A&M hire Schloss had to smart a little. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see him make a play for O'Connor at UVA.

IMO Godwin has a much higher ceiling but also a lower floor. We know what Bianco is at this point.

Yeah, they worship him. I think he wants to build a dynasty, not take over one. He seems pretty vested in Knoxville. Then again, maybe he Kiffins.
