I didn’t like the 1st inning. Having Carraway and Simpson batting instead of Dardar. We could have had a big 1st inning. So many bad moves in that game. We don’t handle good opportunities well yet. The 9th was the second opportunity wasted.

They need taller foul poles. I don’t know what angle they had on Brown’s hit but that ball sure looked fair. The ump had a very tight strike zone. He sure didn’t like low strikes.

That was a really poorly played game even though it was exciting in the 8th and 9th.

Cooper Williams simply cannot come into games and walk 3 consecutive hitters.

He has done that all season. Why is that a shock to anyone tonight? Idk what his issue is but we need him to get his act together and soon.

Replay looked like Brown's shot cleared the mesh close to the pole, but well within. Should have been a HR. Ump sucked the first 3 innings and then had a more realistic zone thereafter. Think about how many gifts LSU received late in the game on passed balls by Vandy catcher and then gave the game away at the end of the 9th on a bad pitch.

Left Evans in too long. He should have been out early in the third.
. Then what? Cooper comes in and walks the bases loaded and it’s Jay’s fault for pulling Evans too soon.

Agree Evans pitching was awful and relief pitching except Cowan was worst. How many more times is CJJ going to use C. Williams, J. Noot in relief. Need to use other pitchers who has shown much better performance, even if for 1 inning.

Agree 1000! He is trying to force a square peg into a round hole with Evans. Kid is not a starter.

Not bringing in a LH pitcher to face the LH batter was the biggest mistake of the game. Guidry just got raked by a LH pitcher on the previous hitter. JJ should have know better on this, unless he just doesn't think he has a LH pitcher worthy of the situation, which is real problem. Every good team will have at least one LH pitcher for this every situation.

Yeah ...I'd still prefer him closing games...Think that's where he's more comfortable...

What in the hell are u talking about? So he’s supposed to tell Evans he can’t walk 7 batters? He’s supposed to be our Friday night ACE! Same thing with Williams! Everyone was very high on both and they both shite the bed!

No one else. No one else. You score 12 runs on a Friday you’re supposed to win 100 times out of 100 times.

So the pitchers that allowed 7 of the 13 runs get a free pass? So the hitters who left men on base get a free pass? So the catcher who looked like crap gets a free pass?

We played bad. We not just he.
