With the W tonight we’re back to being a game clear in the top 4 of the SEC standings.

1 Texas 21-8
2 Arkansas 19-10
3 Vanderbilt 18-11
3 LSU 18-11

5 Georgia 17-12

Now tomorrow with a win we can clinch the series, a double bye in the SECt and a top 8 national seed. A lot at stake!

if we lose tomorrow and Georgia wins we’d both be 18-12. Georgia has the common opponents record tiebreaker on us if they win tomorrow and we lose tomorrow:
Georgia 13-8
LSU 12-9

If I'm not mistaken in a vandy lsu tie lsu gets the nod over vandy. I might be wrong though just seems I read that yesterday.

The first tiebreaker since we don’t play is record against common opponents. They were ahead of us on that tiebreaker coming into this weekend

I’m pretty sure we are both 9-9 in common opponents or am I wrong? Actually I double checked. We are 10-8 and they are 9-9. We are the 3 ahead of them. This weekends games don’t matter towards that as neither are common opponents.

If Auburn loses tonight (trailing by 5 in 8th) and Tenn loses tonight (trailing 8-6 on SECN) then LSU clinches a top 4 seed in SECT with a UGA loss tomorrow before we even take the field.

Or just win and we're fine

That might be the case now. If we have the same record it’d go to whatever the next tiebreaker is

I think LSU is one game better than Vandy vs common opponents.

. Nah, they don't have to run through the SEC Tournament.

losing the series to USC would be ugly. I doubt we’d drop out of the top 8 but why leave it to chance even if it’s unlikely

If we end up tied with UGA tomorrow (should not happen), do we end up 5th in the SEC?

After tonight’s games are final I’ll look at the record against common opponents between us Georgia and Vandy. Curious too

If we end up tied with Georgia and Vandy I think we end up 4th.

Wasn't the four games against Tenn. and Ark, the most important game of the season.

Poorly worded question. If we're 1 game behind Vandy, and tied with UGA, who ends up 5th.

So Vandy, and UGA both win tomorrow, and we lose. Where do we end up.

Us cause we went 1-2 vs Texas and Georgia got swept by Texas if it’s a 2 way tie

tight in that case I believe we have a double bye in SECt locked up now. win tomorrow clinches top 8 seed for certain though

Awesome, so a top 4 SEC seed is locked up. Now win tomorrow and lock up a top 8 NCAA seed.
