Currently hitting.359 since being called up. He can spray the ball to all fields. He has always been a pure hitter and he now has the defensive ability to be an everyday 3rd baseman. I wouldn’t be surprised if a hitting title is in his future.

Home runs will come in time. I believe he only has 3KO’s in 36AB’s. That’s one of the most amazing stats.

I am seriously proud and happy for this young man. Such a great natural hitter, and what a physical transformation to make himself MLB material.

I’m here. One of them was a dribbler down the 3rd base line but he scored the first and only run. Gage Jump is dealing.

Top picture is last night. Looking good in the green jerseys tonight.

Nice hit up the middle for Tanks! I think he shed a ton of weight and lost a little power to become a better defender. I think you’ll see him bulk up in time again

eh, he wasn't hitting bombs for the most part at LSU like Jared Jones. Just a great hitter who could drive the ball to all fields. Regardless, he had 9 HRs and 12 2Bs in 55 games of AAA ball this year when he was called up. That's not losing any power. He's playing in bigger parks against better pitchers and using a wood bat now. The weight he shed was good weight that wouldn't sacrifice power. He's not a small guy now, he just isn't overweight anymore

As an Astros fan I hate seeing Tommy, Gage, Anderson, and now Jake Brown go to AL West teams but hoping for their success. At least we got Ethan Frey!

Yea I should have included that, that's one of the most impressive parts of this little run

He's always been a hitter. Very happy to hear he’s putting it all together. ABs matter more for him than homers do right now. If the ABs keep stacking, the homers will follow.
